How to Wear The Citrine Crystal Eyeshadow Quad

Warm up your lids and your life with golden bronze, bathed in sunlight shades that bring out your inner summer shimmer. Scroll through for a step-by-step guide to creating this textured metallic, winged-out fox eye look with our Citrine Crystal Eyeshadow Quad.

Step 1

Brush Midsummer under the start of your brow bone, blending from the side of the nose.

This creates the illusion of a lifted lid and a slimmer nose.

Step 2

Take Midsummer into the outer corner and bring it out into a dramatic wing, reaching towards the end of the brow.

Step 3

Apply Eternal all over the lid, stopping where Midsummer starts under the brow bone.

Step 4

Brush Midsummer along the outer 2/3 of the lower lash line, pulling it upwards and outwards to define your wing.

Step 5

Apply Flame along the first half of the lower lash line.

Step 6

Dust Citrine in the inner corner and along the back half of the brow bone.

The Final Look

Shimmering, multifaceted, and glowing like the warm sun rays.

Coat lashes with The Big Bang Mascara and brush on your favorite Radiant Ruby Lip Creme to finish off the look!

Other Ways to Wear & Pair The Shades

The combinations are endless, even in a seemingly simple four shade palette. Create an easy everyday look or go all-out with graphic lines and dramatic wings. Apply them dry for a soft, buttery feel, or try them wet for next-level drama. A couple tricks to try:

One Shade Wonder

Apply Eternal or Flame all over the lid as a single statement shade. Sometimes less is more to make an entrance. Wing it out to take it up a notch and apply wet for extra impact.

Line it Up

Use Eternal as a glimmering golden liner. Wet your brush first for extreme metallic opacity. Try a simple wing or go the Euphoria route and draw arcing lines wherever your lid leads you!

Be The Light

Use Citrine as an all-over highlight - anywhere you want to shine bright and catch the light. And for a golden sunset highlight, try out Eternal in any (or all) of these spots:

  • Inner corner and brow bone
  • Center of the lid
  • Atop cheekbones, tip of nose, and cupid’s bow
  • On your collarbones and the tops of your shoulders

Define Time

When you’re dashing out the door, no time for a full eye blend, brush Midsummer into the crease to create depth and definition on the fly.

Also try out Midsummer as a deliciously warm, effortlessly blendable matte contour for all over the face.
